Dropping your expectations...

So many of us think we actually control this thing called life. Setting detailed goals with time frames and unconsciously putting limits on the powerful Source that created us to be here in the first place. We were just a co creator of our existence. Remember there is another Force involved that surpasses our understanding of life. We didn’t have a clue to our arrival time to this planet and we don’t have a clue about our departure time of this planet. So why do we think we can control the timing of major life events that take place between our arrival and departure time of this planet. Life and the world reminds me of an airport or traveling. It’s like being on a plane and you all of a sudden hear the captain say there will be an emergency landing. The captain lands the plane, you get off, and now you’re in the airport for an unknown period of time maybe hours, or even days. Who the fuck knows. The captain and crew are gone to take care of whatever business and you now have this free unexpected time to do whatever, within reason, that you desire. As long as you can make it back for your flight in time to board the plane. So you have free will to meet new people or not. Maybe shop or see how far you can go outside the airport to sight see your new surroundings or not. You can enjoy the experience with no expectations or be fearful of it and resent the experience. Either way you’re in a layover and you don’t know the departure time.

Life is funny like that. We just don’t know. We don’t know enough to physically bring into existence EVERY desire of our hearts. And it’s not our jobs to know. But it is our job to take the expectations and limits off of our desires and allow The Ultimate Source of Creation time and space to do what it does best and that’s supplying EVERYTHING we need and desire to thrive on this planet.
